Summary

As energy systems evolve, relying on a single Distributed Energy Resource (DER) is no longer sufficient to meet the demands of resilience, sustainability, and flexibility. Asset diversification—integrating multiple DERs such as solar, storage, EV charging, and demand response—enables more robust and adaptive microgrid strategies. Through Schneider Electric’s EcoXpert™ partner program, professionals gain the certifications and tools needed to design, deploy, and manage these complex, multi-asset systems with confidence.

Key points:

From Single to Multi-DER Strategies: Transitioning from a single DER to a diversified portfolio enhances energy reliability, optimizes performance, and supports decarbonization goals.

Microgrid Resilience and Flexibility: A diversified DER mix allows microgrids to respond dynamically to grid conditions, market signals, and operational priorities.

EcoXpert Certifications: Specialized training and certification tracks empower partners to master technologies like energy storage, microgrid controls, and advanced energy analytics.

Future-Proofing Energy Systems: Diversification supports long-term scalability and integration of emerging technologies, ensuring systems remain adaptable and future-ready.

Partner Ecosystem Advantage: EcoXpert partners benefit from a global network, co-marketing opportunities, and access to Schneider Electric’s latest innovations and support.
