Tata Motors to deliver 10,000 EVs to Indian cab service provider

Tata Motors has signed an agreement with cab service provider BluSmart Electric Mobility for the largest ever EV fleet order in India. The agreement requires Tata Motors to deliver 10,000 XPRES T EVs

Tata Motors has signed an agreement with cab service provider BluSmart Electric Mobility for the largest ever EV fleet order in India.

The agreement requires Tata Motors to deliver 10,000 XPRES T EVs, adding to the 3,500 XPRES T EV order placed by BluSmart Electric Mobility in October last year.

Said. “ We are delighted to continue our association with BluSmart Electric Mobility as we deploy 10,000 XPRES-T EVs across the country. Our XPRES-T EV fleet offers an optimal battery size along with a captive fast charging solution and has already set benchmarks in its category. Tata Motors is constantly working towards educating and enhancing the adoption of electric mobility in India and we hope that more people join us in this journey as we mobilize the nation to #EvolveToElectric.”

The XPRES-T EV is available in two range options, namely 213km and 165km (ARAI certified range under test conditions). It is equipped with a high energy density battery of 21.5 kWh and 16.5 kWh, which can be charged to 80% within 90 minutes and 110 minutes, respectively.

The EV is also equipped with dual airbags, ABS and single speed automatic transmission. It ensures zero tail-pipe emissions.
