XCharge North America Developing 3 MWh Battery Storage EV Charging Superhub Near Dallas, TX

Feb. 12, 2024
Once commissioned, the Superhub will be the largest non-Tesla DC fast-charging hub in the region – featuring a 3 MWh storage capacity that offers grid support

XCharge North America (NA), a DC high-power and battery-integrated EV charging solutions provider, will build a state-of-the-art grid to support a Battery Storage EV Charging Superhub at the Watters Creek Village mixed-use development near Dallas, Texas.

The center will feature over 20 stalls with ultra-fast EV chargers and provide solutions for EV drivers with max outputs ranging from 200 kW to 400 kW per port.

Once commissioned, the Superhub will be the largest non-Tesla DC fast-charging hub in the region – featuring a 3 MWh storage capacity that offers grid support.

The system will be designed to handle seismic weather events and will go beyond just powering EVs by returning surplus energy to the regional grid. This aligns with the community’s broader goal of sustainable and community-focused initiatives.
