bp pulse has also committed to building out its Gigahub network near airports and installing EV chargers across TravelCenters of America's network
bp pulse, bp's global EV charging business, has signed a deal with Simon Property Group, a real estate investment trust engaged in the ownership of premier shopping destinations, to install and operate EV charging Gigahubs on 75 of Simon's sites.

This deal serves to advance bp pulse's focus of delivering charging infrastructure in the locations customers want and need. In total, the company will provide more than 900 ultra-fast charging bays that support nearly every EV make and model. bp pulse expects the first Gigahub charging location to be open to the public in early 2026.

"We're pleased to complete this deal with Simon and expand our ultra-fast charging network footprint in the US. The Simon portfolio aligns with bp pulse's strategy to deploy ultra-fast charging across the West Coast, East Coast, Sun Belt, and Great Lakes, and we are thrilled to team up with Simon," said Richard Bartlett, bp pulse CEO.

These Simon destinations are just the most recent sites to be identified as suitable locations for the bp pulse EV charging network in the US - the company has also committed to building out its Gigahub network near airports and major metropolitan areas and installing EV chargers across major branded convenience stores and TravelCenters of America's network

"As a committed long-term infrastructure player with a global network of EV charging solutions, bp pulse intends to continue to seek and build transformative industry collaborations in real estate required to scale our network and match the demand of current and future EV drivers," said Sujay Sharma, bp pulse Americas CEO.
