Primoris wins West Coast Solar Construction contract valued at over $370 million

Work will begin in the second quarter of this year

Energy infrastructure firm Primoris Services Corporation’s Energy/Renewables Segment has secured a contract for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a utility-scale solar facility on the West Coast.

The project’s estimated value is more than $370 million.

The initial project construction will start in the second quarter of 2022. It is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Primoris Services Corporation’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Tom McCormick said, “With this new contract, our solar project backlog now exceeds $1 billion as we move into 2022.”

The company release did not specify where the solar project was located and who the project owner was.
