Avangrid Achieves 8.6 GW Wind and Solar Capacity Across 70+ Renewable Energy Projects

Avangrid, Inc., a sustainable energy company and member of the Iberdrola Group, has reached an 8.6 GW wind and solar capacity across more than 70 U.S. facilities. Combined, these projects generate enough electricity to power over 2.8 million homes.

With a presence across 24 states, Avangrid’s wind and solar facilities generate clean electricity and reduce carbon emissions, helping states reach environmental goals. The facilities also provide benefits to the surrounding communities through local job creation and economic growth.
