TurnOnGreen has completed the installation of four public access charging stations at the Civic Center in Boulder City, Nevada.
According to the company, these level 2 networked charging stations will offer convenient EV charging services to city employees, residents, local businesses, and visitors of Boulder City.
The project includes high-power EVP700G EV chargers that can be activated through the TurnOnGreen App, RFID cards, or a unique QR code on each charger.
The company notes that its charging systems adhere to high market standards, possess Energy Star certification, and are supported by an internationally recognized certificate ensuring safety and performance.
“We are excited to help Boulder City expand their EV charging infrastructure and work with our partners at Bombard Electric to increase the EV charging footprint in the State of Nevada,” said TurnOnGreen President Marcus Charuvastra. “Boulder City is located along a key tourism corridor that connects Las Vegas and the Hoover Dam. Expanding EV charging infrastructure in this region will support the continued adoption of zero-emission vehicles and the overall reduction of greenhouse gases in the southwest.”
Despite an overall decline of 8 percent in auto sales in the U.S. in 2022, battery-electric vehicle sales witnessed a 65-percent increase compared to the previous year, according to Kelley Blue Book.
