Participating brands, such as Comfort, Quality Inn, and Cambria, can install four or more Tesla charging stations to help relieve EV charging anxiety across the nation

Choice Hotels International, one of the largest hotel franchisors in the world, has signed an agreement with Tesla to begin offering Tesla Universal Wall Connectors to participating Choice Hotels locations across the United States.

Participating brands underneath the Choice Hotels umbrella include:

  • Radisson
  • Cambria
  • Comfort
  • Country Inn & Suites
  • Quality Inn

Through the agreement, each location can add four or more Tesla charging stations, which will be available to all guests to help ease charging anxiety for travelers using EVs.

“This agreement with Tesla allows our brands to further stand out by increasing access to EV charging for guests and potentially drive incremental topline revenue for hotel owners, said Dominic Dragisich, EVP of Operations and Chief Global Brand Officer for Choice Hotels. “We are focused on ensuring our owners and operators of our hotel brands are set up to benefit from strategic agreements that drive booking consideration and value.”

Choice Hotels has over 7,500 hotels with more than 630,000 rooms across 46 countries and territories, and in 2022, guests who drove to its hotels accounted for 82% of all Choice room nights, giving the company a unique position to help address consumer demand for EV charging.
