The assets will produce approximately 3,300,000 kWh by September 2024, the equivalent of 2,400 metric tons of CO2 avoided annually

Altus Power, a commercial-scale provider of clean electric power, has recently added 3 MW of solar arrays to its operating portfolio in the Greater Boston area. The arrays will produce approximately 3,300,000 kWh within the next 12 months, helping to avoid the equivalent of 2,400 metric tons of CO2 annually.

“We’re pleased to continue the expansion of our Massachusetts solar portfolio, delivering the benefits of clean electric power to… the state,” said Gregg Felton, Co-CEO and Co-Founder at Altus Power. “Massachusetts has set ambitious goals for the use of clean energy, and we’re proud to support those goals through the numerous solar arrays we own and operate across the Commonwealth.”

With this 3 MW addition, Altus’ assets in Massachusetts now total 117 MW, all of which were developed in the state itself. The commercial and industrial solar arrays are located on rooftops and will benefit local businesses, residents, and colleges through their clean power generation.
